Watch the Pokemon Direct livestream here starting at 7am PT

Here we go, the latest and greatest from Shacknews...

Nintendo announced an all-Pokemon Nintendo Direct would be kicking off today at 7am PT / 10am ET, which it plans to celebrate 20 years of Pokemon within a single Pokemon Direct video.

While Nintendo has yet to reveal what kind of Pokemon content we can expect from today’s Pokemon Direct, a recent trademark leak for Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun may hint at new games within this iconic series.

We also caught wind of a rumor that not only would the Nintendo 3DS receive a price cut later this year, but we may also be getting a Pokemon 20th anniversary game. We’re unsure if this game is what Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun will end up being, although we’re hopeful Nintendo will talk about the game during today’s Pokemon Direct.

Fellow Pokemon trainers should prepare to free up a few minutes starting at 7am PT / 10am ET as we learn what Nintendo has planned for the franchise’s future.
