Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
This week's Silicon Valley was noticeably more emotional than most, as Richard and Erlich butted heads over the latter's Pied Piper shares. This episode got a little tedious in spots -- people arguing over stock options can only be so interesting to watch -- but it was still enjoyable overall thanks to some clever subplots.
But again, the meat of "Bachman's Earning's Over-Ride" was the clash between Richard and Erlich, and that side of things was handled fairly well. The Bloomberg segment, for example, brought about some amusing moments, as did Erlich's Pied Piper-themed photoshoot. I was also glad the show didn't prolong Richard and Monica's Three's Company-style mixup. However, the most effective wrinkle here was Richard having Erlich's entire reputation in his hands, followed by Erlich bringing about his own professional demise after his conversation with CJ.
