Krillin is the star of the show this week as we see him coming to grips with his new life and the results it has had on his martial arts skills. Instead of focusing on intense fights, Episode 75 is another great punch of emotion and features Krillin’s struggle with his sense of inadequacy.
As one of the original and generally weaker members of the Dragon Ball series, Krillin has a unique perspective on events. After Goku approaches him about training together, Krillin realizes he has become weak and complacent with his life, and that powerful moment is hammered home as his wife and daughter make a remark about his strength. But what really sells the moment is the lingering camera, as we see Krillin come to the realization that his wife and daughter are right.
