Vikings: "Crossings" Review

The latest game news from IGN - one of my fave channels ever - check it out

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.

Fittingly, Vikings felt a bit adrift in its first post-Ragnar episode - and perhaps that was the point. It wasn't until the very end, when the ominous Odin figure visited upon Ragnar's sons to let them know their father was dead for certain, that the death certificate was officially filed, but the rumors of his demise alone were enough to send Kattegat spiraling.

Even Bjorn's expedition seemed to be hit with a sense of sluggishness - and this was before they knew about anything Ragnar-related. Before Bjorn saw the flock of ravens and interpreted its mystic meaning. When we caught up with the raiding party, they were floating in the fog, lost to the world. Then fortune came calling in the form of a Muslim port city in Espania that was ripe for roughhousing.
