Taboo Series Premiere Review

The latest game news from IGN - one of my fave channels ever - check it out

Taboo, the new Steven Knight mini-series debuting on BBC One (January 7th) and FX (January 10th), is gorgeously constructed and well acted, though its narrative is often intentionally inscrutable.

Starring Tom Hardy and created by Knight, Hardy, and his father Chips Hardy, Taboo tells the story of Englishman James Delaney, whose father's death spurs him to return to London from Africa after being thought dead for more than a decade. James's surprise appearance at the late Mr. Delaney's funeral throws a wrench in the plans of his estranged half sister Zilpha (Oona Chaplin) and her husband Thorne Geary (Jefferson Hall), as well as the machinations of the East India Trading Company, led by Stuart Strange (Jonathan Pryce).
