What a wonderful episode.
What was so notable about “Trials of the Darksaber” was how incredibly focused it was. Clips and images made it clear the episode would include Sabine training to use the weapon in the title, but I’m guessing I’m not alone in presuming something else would occur to make it more traditionally "action-packed" – that Sabine, Kanan and Ezra would encounter some Imperials or creatures or bounty hunters they’d need to fight and she'd prove herself in this manner. Instead, the story never moved beyond her training and was so much better and more impactful because of that. We didn't need any other foes this week because this was all about Sabine's own internal battle.
