The 100: "A Lie Guarded" Review

Alright, Jasper. You’re being annoying. A different kind of annoying, sure, but come on…

Well, okay, I do like that he’s pranking Jaha and Clarke, which makes the old "Camp Jaha" name for Arkadia feel a lot more literal, complete with wacky hijinks. But the bit with him standing in the rain was frustrating, not to mention predictable as a fake out. Clarke should have been like, “There’s no way they’d kill you at the top of an episode like this!”

Jasper and Monty finding Clarke’s list and the fallout from it was good drama, to be sure, as was them learning neither of them are on it. But I wish at least one of them could see her side of it better. Monty essentially said he could see why she made the decisions she made, but not why she’d make them in the first place. But Monty, dude, you know this is the potential end of humanity here! All of which is to say that it is a good moral quandary in place here, even if Jasper’s going too far with his reactions to, well, everything.
