Perhaps the single biggest complaint with The Flash’s third season so far involves the wasted potential of the Flashpoint timeline. The show has given every impression that it’s finished with Flashpoint now that the focus has shifted to altering the future and saving Iris. But the good news is that “Untouchable” suggests otherwise. This episode used some lingering loose ends from Flashpoint to good effect, while at the same time hinting that Barry Allen isn’t quite done dealing with the fallout of that alternate reality.
