This week’s episode of Berserk was laden with powerful allegories, as "Tower of Conviction" explored the complexities of human nature and the true definition of a “sinner.”
It feels like there are many types of sinners in Berserk. There are the routine kind like thieves and prostitutes, who do what they can to survive. There are the more pronounced kind like the Kushan, a bloodthirsty tribe that doesn't care about the age or gender of their victims so long as they dispose of their enemies. There are the demons, who want to eradicate humanity through violence and suffering. And finally there are the religious zealots, who are willing to eradicate humanity and demons in order to cleanse the world of “evil.”
