The further away we get from Harry Potter, the more Daniel Radcliffe seems to shine as an actor (not that he wasn't good in that role). In his latest movie, Imperium, Radcliffe stars as an FBI agent, Nate Foster. Foster is working undercover to investigate white supremacists who may or may not be planning on exploding a dirty bomb in the Washington, D.C. area.
Written and directed by Daniel Ragussis (with a story from Michael German and "inspired" by real events), Imperium is an incredibly intense thriller but, better than that, it's a multi-faceted one as well. Ragussis and company are not content with a monolithic group of bad guys who fall under the term "white supremacists"; he instead shows a multitude of factions within that umbrella including skinheads, the KKK, and more.
