Warning: The following review contains spoilers for the episode.
After the conclusion of last week’s episode, I came into this one expecting something more light hearted. I figured the heroes would be celebrating their victory and returning the timelines to normal but Trunks just can’t catch a break. Episode 67 ended up delving into some dark places, but only for a moment before the story goes down some very questionable paths.
It only takes a few minutes for everything to fall apart for Trunks. On the visual side, this isn’t handled very well. Zamasu’s power is represented by an energy field that now covers the planet, and within the field is a repeating image of his face. The many faces look odd and appear more like strange sketches in the sky, not intimidating and powerful like they should be.
