Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.
It's been a while since we've had a Lethal Weapon, right? "Ties That Bind" -- which should have aired last week but got bumped due to the World Series -- brought us back into the mix with ease, giving Riggs and Murtaugh a murder case that became extra personal for Riggs once he discovered a good friend of his late wife was involved - and possibly in danger.
As much as Riggs and Murtaugh have bonded over the past few episodes, becoming close enough to have each others' backs while also developing a fun rapport, it was interesting to see Riggs keep Rachel (the aforementioned wife connection) more or less a secret from his partner. That part of his life is still closed off to Roger so I'm looking forward to future moments when Riggs is willing to share a bit more.
