The entire Arrowverse is gearing up for the long-awaited wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West. But before there can be a wedding, there must be a bachelor/bachelorette party. It's pretty much an unwritten rule of television. The result is an episode that serves as a mildly amusing but fairly hollow diversion. That's pretty much the trend with Season 4 so far.
The big news this week is the pair of guest stars dropping by to make Iris' bachelorette party more interesting. It was fun to see Emily Bett Rickards' Felicity stop by, even if her guest role seemed fairly superfluous. Felicity didn't really do anything that couldn't have been accomplished by any other random character, and I've never really felt like the Felicity/Iris bond is so strong that she'd want to make the trip from Star City in the first place.
