The 100: "We Will Rise" Review

The latest game news from IGN - one of my fave channels ever - check it out

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.

The 100 remains a commendable show for how much the past informs the present, which this episode underlined by notably evoking Lexa, Lincoln and even the long gone Wells. These deaths were all big moments on the show and big occurrences for characters still on the show, so it’s definitely good that none of them are forgotten and continue to have a big impact on the loved ones they left behind.

The juxtaposition of Clarke looking lovingly at her drawing of Lexa with the reveal that she had just slept with Niylah was a well done, realistic beat. Clarke’s still living her life, but Lexa’s still on her mind - likely more so now that she’s sharing her bed for the first time since Lexa’s death. It was a poignant, well acted scene by Eliza Taylor and Jessica Harmon… that was just slightly undercut by all the outwardly silly terms said so close together about “going to space to make nightblood” and how a “Death Wave” is coming. (which made me think of Death Blow from Seinfeld).
