The Walking Dead: "Bury Me Here" Review

As we lurch toward a Season 7 finale that will presumedly contain a ton of blood and chaos, certain elements need to fall into place. It's all a bunch of side quests at this point as Rick needs to find guns (and then find more guns) and recruit the women hiding on that island while both Ezekiel and Carol need to both choose to join the war. It's a rather non-intricate, laborious system of pulleys and levers right now - the biggest sin being that it all leaves very little room for true surprises. It's as if we can see the story all laid out before it happens.

So "Bury Me Here" here gets a few points for offering up a few twists in getting us to the point where The Kingdom was ready to fight back against the Saviors, but some of those points, honestly, got swallowed back up into the maw of drudgery simply because none of this would have been necessary if Ezekiel had just agreed to help Rick several episodes ago. Or if Daryl had decided to tell Carol who Negan killed.
