Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.
Vikings excelled tonight with a thoughtful, emotional episode featuring the death of a major character and a hostile-turned-playful reunion between Ragnar and King Ecbert.
As it turned out, Lagertha's confrontation with Queen Aslaug was rather brief and to-the-point. Aggressively "viking," if you will. Aslaug walked out, probably knowing she was done for, and remained graceful in the face of a hostile takeover. She even managed to walk about thirty feet away from Lagertha before she got taken down by an arrow.
Now, normally, shooting someone in the back would be considered fairly despicable, but I'm not sure what the culture dictates here. I seems to me like Lagertha's move was fine when you consider all the tricks and sneak attacks the vikings usually employ to gain any and every advantage over their opponents. Being "honorable" in battle doesn't seem to be a top priority for them.
