Ouija: Origin of Evil Review

Ouija: Origin of Evil may just be the latest entrant into that small category of sequels and prequels that manage to improve upon their predecessors in every way. Of course, when you’re following a movie as bad as 2014’s Ouija that’s not necessarily saying much.

Warning: spoilers for the (terrible) original movie follow.

In the first Ouija, a bunch of young, pretty people get into trouble when they fail to observe the cardinal rules of playing with a Ouija board: don’t play alone, don’t play in a graveyard and always say goodbye. Kids start dropping like flies before they realize they’re being stalked by the spirits of a woman and/or her two daughters, who themselves used a Ouija board many years ago to blah blah something something evil.
