Ash vs. Evil Dead: "The Morgue" Review

Um, holy crap, you guys! What in the world...?

Sufficed to say, this week's episode hilariously, and grossly, WENT THERE. "The Morgue" was already a solid chapter without Ash getting slowly dragged up into a corpse's feces-lined ass by demonically-possessed intestines, but that really pushed this one off the ledge - in a great way.

From the very beginning, Raimi, Campbell and the rest of the creators and cast of this show have emphatically said Starz was the only network that could carry this show properly, and I think we all understood that reasoning given the copious amounts of blood and gore. This was the first time though that I really felt like the decision to air the series on Starz paid serious dividends. Up until now, I could kind of see the show airing on another pay-channel, perhaps, but the entirety of the "Ash wearing a body on his shoulders as if he was Krang" scene, complete with the dead guy's shlong dangling in front of our hero's face, was hilariously vile.
